Premier Mabuyane Welcomed Junior Springboks to the Eastern Cape – the Home of Legends!



Eastern Cape Premier, Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane, met with the Junior Springboks in Nelson Mandela Bay ahead of the highly anticipated Rugby Championship U20 tournament, taking place from 1–11 May 2025!


Proudly hosted in partnership with ECDC, the tournament will see South Africa face off against rising stars from Argentina, Australia, and New Zealand — right here in the Home of Legends.


The Premier encouraged communities to come out in full force and support our future rugby greats. Let’s rally behind the boys and showcase our province as a global rugby powerhouse!
