The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) in partnership with the Eastern Cape Development Cooperation (ECDC) invite you to attend the Global Exporter Passport Programme (GEPP). The training structured as follows,

 

Phase 1: Introduction to exporting and export audit -    7-9 September 2025   

Introduction to exporting and export audit is the first training phase of the GEPP that provides foundation training for enterprises on issues, modalities and benefits of exporting.


Phase 2: Planning for Export & Market Selection - 7-10 October 2025

Planning for export market selection and analysis focuses on market analysis and the development. The analysis focuses on identifying threats and opportunities to construct a comprehensive plan for the targeted market.


Phase 3: Entry strategy, sales and marketing - 3-4 November 2025

Entry strategy, sales and marketing addresses market entry issues, targeting specific markets based on the export-marketing plan. It also assists enterprises with the implementation of the marketing plan. Emphasis is placed on distribution channels, finding trade partners and buyers, including business culture in the market. The approach paves a way for market segmentation, targeting and positioning, which will result to adequate sales pitch for actual business.


Phase 4: Coaching Phase 1-5 December 2025

During this pivotal stage, participating businesses engage in one-on-one, in-depth coaching sessions with a dedicated expert coach.
