Decorex Cape Town
Decorex Africa is a trusted, award-winning brand which has been bringing Africa the latest in décor and design trends since its inception in 1994. Decorex Africa has been at the forefront of decor, design and lifestyle trends for almost three decades, hosting over 100 events and helping to launch thousands of businesses, putting an indelible stamp on the industry. Held in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban these exhibitions run across 50 000m2 of exhibition space, featuring 1 200 exhibitors and attracting over 115 000 visitors annually. These platforms help stimulate trade and investment, ignite conversation, showcase innovation, and grow networks between buyers and sellers. Decorex Cape Town will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on the 22-25 June 2023.

Eastern Cape Film Investment Fund
The Eastern Cape Development Corporation is calling production companies needing a gap funding for shooting in the Eastern Cape to submit their production funding proposal for feature films, series, telenovelas, reality shows, documentaries and animation projects that are scheduled to shoot in the Eastern Cape.

Risk Capital Fund
The main objective the RCF is to provide business development support funding in the form of Business Finance and Projects Development Finance, to enterprises/entrepreneurs across the various levels of the business cycle. Depending on the needs of the enterprise and its stage of development, the ECDC funding can be in the form of equity, loan or a blended equity – loan offering.

Export Market Access Fund
The Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC), in line with the Eastern Cape Export Strategy, has set up an Export Market Access Fund to support efforts towards accessing global markets by Eastern Cape businesses, stimulate job creation and position the Eastern Cape province as a reliable source market for exports.

The Manager Training Programme
The Training Manager Programme of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) is an element of Germany’s foreign trade policy. The Virtual Manager Training Programme provides the participating managers with possibility to become familiar with the German market, to establish business relations with German companies and build long-term partnerships.
The Programme is targeted at business manager’s from South Africa particularly those from small and medium-sized enterprizes, participating managers will receive an 8 week Programme with a training on business competencies and economic cooperation with German companies middle and upper level managers from South African business, which have foreign trade potential and stable management structure. In principle, it is open to all economic sectors. More details on the programme can be viewed here
The tailored training in Germany strengthens specific management competencies. Virtually conducted discussions with German managers impart examples of good business practices. Direct business contacts and negotiations provide access to the German market. An application form can be downloaded and submitted to llubengu@ecdc.co.za.
