THE TOURISM industry in the northern region of the Eastern Cape is showing strong growth, with increased interest by visitors in attractions on offer throughout the region. Stormberg Area Regional Tourism Organisation (Sarto) information officer Hazel Zingitwa says visitors to the Sarto bureau are coming from as far afield as Australia, Germany and the United Kingdom. "Great interest is being shown in museums, game reserves and the work of crafters and beaders."
