THE EASTERN CAPE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (ECDC) facilitates and supports private sector development in the Eastern Cape through a range of professional services including: Enterprise Development Services, Trade / Investment Promotion, Project Development, Spatial Programmes, Enterprise Finance, Property Management and Development. The Corporation is governed by the regulations of the PFMA and the ECDC Act of 1997.

ECDC is soliciting competitive proposals from consultants / service providers to develop and implement a Quality Management System as set out in the International Organisation for Standardisation - ISO 9001:2000.

Submissions are to include: a profile on the entity, experience, professional bodies with which your company is accredited, charge rates, empowerment policy, location of offices as well as holding company, capacity, skills, resources, methodology used and duration of the project.

All proposals should be hand delivered to the ECDC House, Ocean Terrace Park, Moore Street, Quigney, East London. ECDC will accept no responsibility for mailed documents.

Closing date for submission of proposals is Monday 7th November 2005 at 16h30. No late submissions will be accepted.
