THE MANY cultures found in the Eastern Cape are to be celebrated during a two-month “Art & Soul” season organised by Tourism Port Elizabeth. Art & Soul will be celebrated during the months of July and August. It will link into the Grahamstown National Arts Festival, which is being held from June 29 to July 6. This new Tourism Port Elizabeth initiative starts off with The Met Stars film festival from 18 July, at various movie houses throughout the Metro. This will be followed by the "Celebration of Women" Festival and the Viva Africa Festival, both happening from August. 9 to 11. The Art & Soul season ends off with a One Act Youth Festival at The Barn, from August 26 to 31, and the "Celebration of Culture" dinner at the Uitenhage Indoor Sports Centre on August 29.
