The primary mandate of this Stimulus Fund is to incentivise the creation of newJobs located within the Eastern Cape by attracting, Sector specific, catalytic investments which stimulate sustainable new jobs across the value chain. Applications for funding has been opened for specific period till 30 November 2011 and funding will be awarded on a competitive basis. Imvaba - Eastern Cape Provincial Co-operative Development Fund
The Department of Economic Development and Environmental Affairs (DEDEA) has made a provision of R50m Cooperatives Fund to support and develop Cooperatives within the province. The fund is called the Imvaba Eastern Cape Provincial Cooperative Development Fund (Imvaba ECPCDF) and it is informed primarily by the Eastern Cape Provincial Cooperatives Development Strategy.
