FNB Enablis SEDA Business Launchpad
ECDC SUPPORTS NEW ENTREPRENEUR FUNDING OPPORTUNITY
The ECDC is running a province-wide campaign to encourage and assist
individuals with business ideas, as well as those with existing SMEs, to
enter the R50-m 2009 FNB Enablis Seda Business Launchpad.
The three top provincial entrants will each win R10,000 in cash, while high- scoring
entries will be evaluated on a "fast-track" basis for possible funding
by ECDC. In addition, high-scoring Eastern Cape entrants stand the
chance of being selected to go to the national finals in Johannesburg,
where they will compete for the 20 national winner slots, and the
associated access to great business prizes, eligibility for funding and
super-charged networking opportunities.
The competition is open to anyone over 18 with a business idea or an
existing business they want to expand. Your business does not have to be
registered. You do not have to have or prepare a full business plan
-- the entry form guides you step-by-step through a short business
proposal.
Information sessions will be held at all ECDC branches -- please contact
your nearest branch for details. Printed entry forms can be obtained
from, and dropped off at, any ECDC branch.
