Act 2 Of 1997

ECDC assented to this Act in terms of section 121(1) of Act 108 of 1996. In brief, the Act makes provision for the following:

• To establish a development corporation for the Province of the Eastern Cape.
• To prescribe the objects and powers of the corporation.
• To make provision for its financing, control and management.
• To provide for matters incidental thereto.
