Act 2 Of 1997

ECDC assented to this Act in terms of section 121(1) of Act 108 of 1996. In brief, the Act makes provision for the following:

To establish a development corporation for the Province of the Eastern Cape.
To prescribe the objects and powers of the corporation.
To make provision for its financing, control and management.
To provide for matters incidental thereto.
